Nothing better in sports than a win or go home playoff game. We have already seen two big upsets in the divisional round series in the National League, can the pesky Guardians make it three out of four?
We know you'll be watching, so add some fun. Six props below and one tiebreaker if needed. All have nearly even chances of happening, so anyone can play. So grab some competition and see who can get the most correct.
Cleveland Guardians @ New York Yankees
We highlighted the differences between these two clubs in our game 1 preview, and it has been on full display. On the Yankees side, of their 15 total runs scored in the first four games, 12 or 80% of them are from home runs. This compared to 3 of the Guardians' 13 runs (23%) coming from the long ball. On the contrary, the Guardians have been grinding out hit upon hit, and actually have yet to have a game in this series with fewer hits than the Yankees.
Instead the Guardians have been stifled by Gerrit Cole twice in their two losses, while relying on some tight game hitting magic for their two wins, one in the 10th inning in game 2 and the other scoring three runs in the bottom of the 9th inning for the walk off in game 3. They will avoid Cole in this deciding game 5, can they muster up some last magic to take down another top favorite?
