Mets vs Braves: Props for fun

Updated: Oct 1, 2022

The biggest series in the final stretch of the season starts tonight. While there are some teams still fighting for their postseason lives (looking at you Philadelphia and Milwaukee), these two are already locks to make it in. But as we laid out, the new MLB postseason format significantly benefits having one of the top two seeds in the league as you avoid the first round with a bye and a few days of rest.

Only one game currently separates these two at the top of the NL East and for the NL's #2 overall seed. And with both playing their final three game series of the season against their division's two bottom dwellers (Marlins and Nationals), this series will likely be the deciding conclusion to a season long fight. Both teams have the tops of their rotations ready to go. Can Jason deGrom and the Mets hold off Max Fried and the Braves to lead off the series?

And if those stakes aren't high enough for you, we are here to add some extra intrigue. Add additional fun to watching by picking a side on our Props below and compete against friends to see who can get the most correct.

As always, all of our Props have nearly even chances of happening, so it doesn't matter how much you know, anyone can play.
